The Township Treasurer is responsible for the following township services:

Property Billing:
As a taxpayer, you have the responsibility to verify that your payment is being made on the correct property description. The tax amounts listed on the tax notice are levied on the property described at the top of the tax bill and are for the indicated tax year.

Please note that failure to receive a tax bill or failure to deliver timely tax payment does not waiver interest or penalty charges.

Please make checks or money orders payable to Onondaga Township. All checks are accepted as conditional payment until the check clears the bank.

Please submit the tax bill with your payment and include your telephone number on the check.
Taxes Payments:
Summer Summer Taxes are due on September 14. After this date, interest of 1% a month is added for each calendar month. After February 14, an additional 3% penalty will be added. See delinquent tax information for taxes paid on or after March 1.
Winter Winter taxes are due on February 14. After this date, an additional 3% penalty will be added. See delinquent tax information above for taxes paid on and after March 1.

Taxes are due Dec. 1st thru Feb. 14th without penalty. On Feb. 15th a 3% penalty will be added (Seniors are exempt).  After Feb. 28th taxes are due at the Ingham County office.

I will be in the office to collect taxes on Mondays & Wednesdays from 1:00 to 5:00 pm & Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.  Taxes may be mailed to the Onondaga Township office address listed on our home page.

If a receipt is requested please send a stamped envelope.

Always send your tax bill with your payment.

If paying by cash please have the correct amount because I do not keep change at the office.

Summer Taxes, if still due are not included on this bill.
